Convention Dinner

Registrations for the Convention Dinner have closed.

Convention delegates and visitors are invited to attend the Convention ‘Jazz & Shiraz’ dinner to be held on Saturday evening, 3 October.

Please join our hosts, Our Saviour congregation, Rochedale, who are sure to deliver an evening of chill-out music and fine food—as we unwind after the business of Convention and enjoy each others’ company.

The dinner costs only $55, which includes entertainment (including Our Saviour’s celebrated jazz band), pre-dinner nibbles, two-course meal and all drinks.

The speaker will be Our Saviour’s own Tyson Stelzer, world-renowned wine writer and speaker, and this year named International Food and Spirit Communicator of the Year. Tyson is a deacon and young adults leader at Our Saviour and has a huge heart for the Lutheran Church’s mission in South-East Asia.

Our Saviour congregation will be directing the net proceeds from the dinner to ‘Project Precious’—two projects in Cambodia to support children and their families:

1. The first ever preschool in Ampilpramdeom Commune (Australian Lutheran World Service)
2. Daily food program for children and training in food production for adults (LCA International Mission).

There will be opportunities to donate to these two projects on the night.
