HOTEL SHUTTLE SERVICE
The Convention hotel shuttle service will run from the hotels listed on the accommodation page. You needed to have requested this service when you registered. For more information, please see the accommodation shuttle timetable, the airport shuttle timetable and the Brisbane airport pickup directions. There will now be an additional bus heading to the listed hotels from the airport at 3pm on Sunday 27 September. The 6.30pm bus that day will now depart the airport at 7.30pm, to allow for later arrivals to make use of this service.
Registrations for delegates and visitors for General Convention of Synod will be open from 4.00 – 6.45 pm on Tuesday, 29 September. The opening service commences at 7.00 pm. Allow sufficient time for baggage pickup, waiting for your shuttle, and then 30 minutes for the commute from Brisbane Airport to the Convention venue, Redeemer Lutheran College, Rochedale.
For your return journey, we recommend that you do not book flights before 12.00 noon. The closing service concludes at 10.30 am on Sunday, 4 October, and shuttle buses to Brisbane Airport will not commence prior to 10.30 am.

Brisbane Airport shuttles
We will be providing a regular airport shuttle service from and to Brisbane Airport on selected days. Click on the highlighted link here for pick-up directions. Due to security regulations at Brisbane Airport, people travelling on shuttle services must be pre-registered. Therefore delegates must have requested a shuttle service at the time you registered for Convention.
Delegates and visitors arriving at Coolangatta Airport will need to make their own arrangements to and from Redeemer Lutheran College.
Accommodation shuttle buses will run between Redeemer Lutheran College and the listed hotels (you can also find the timetable in the Accommodation section). Delegates and visitors staying in other hotels will need to make their own transport arrangements.
If required, rental cars can be booked and paid for through FCm.
Brisbane public transport options (buses and trains) can be found at the Translink website.
There is ample capacity for car parking at Redeemer Lutheran College.
Luggage storage is available at Redeemer Lutheran College on Tuesday evening, all day Wednesday and Sunday morning.
